Captions:

• Nested sequence captions: - NEW WAY TO DO CAPTIONS - You can now add captions as a single "nested sequence" (a clip that represents another sequence) in your timeline. This makes your timeline more performant and less cluttered, allows you to add native effects (such as motion, scale, colour tint, blur) across all captions easily, and is significantly faster to add for longer captions. You're still able to do all the animations and editing that you always had access to, plus you can double-click into the nested sequence to edit specific caption lines if you like.

Remove repetitions:

• Better timing accuracy: More accurate cutting using a better model for calculating word timestamps

• Bulk approvals: New buttons to "auto-accept last takes" or "auto-accept longest takes" to help speed up the process of selecting which takes to keep

Captions:

• Bug fixes: Solving various issues with editing transcript, editing saved captions, and using the Adjust timing feature

Filler words:

• Custom filler phrases: You can now define custom filler multi-word phrases such as "you know" (as well as single words which you could do in our previous update)

• Quality-of-life improvements: Consecutive words get removed as unified chunk even if the "bridging" option is off, the default filler words ("um and uh") are only mentioned once, possible to do only custom filler words (no default)

Captions:

• Adjust timing: Fixed a bug where toggling the "Adjust timing" option was not impacting the final result and would always be default = on

Multi-track:

• Manual track switching: Fixed a bug where you could not manually switch video tracks

Error messages:

• Clearer messages: Increased which errors get detailed, specific messages to help you address the underlying cause

Hotfix to solve a minor issue with moving the playhead correctly as caption transcript is being edited

Filler words:

• Custom filler words: You can now define custom filler words (please note we are currently limited to single words, such as "so", and not yet able to do phrases such as "you know". This is on our roadmap to add)

• Padding: Similar to how we have a padding setting in Advanced silence cutting, we now also have it for filler words to give you more control over how the filler words are cut

Captions:

• Wiggle effect: Fixed a bug where the wiggle animation was not being displayed when using a preset
